A day in the life

What a Wellsprings day actually looks like.

A school day runs from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Eight periods of about 40 minutes each, with a co-scholastic or sport block and lunch eaten together. The rhythm holds space for thinking, making, and being together.

  1. Core academicsReading, writing, number, science, language — long enough to go deep, short enough to stay sharp.
  2. Co-scholastic blockArt, music, dance, or sport with specialist teachers. Not an extra — part of the day's design.
  3. Lunch togetherMixed tables. Conversations across years. A hot meal, cooked on campus, eaten as a group.
  4. Project & lab timeHands-on project work across the stages — and real science labs from the middle years.
  5. Close of dayHomework noted, bags packed, and a calm send-off by 3:00 pm.
